It was truly heart-breaking to see everyone's emotion so well. ![]() I really like how well-written the characters were written during the sinking. The author did an awesome job of capturing Elizabeth's complex emotion through out the trip, with her anger over her engagement. Elizabeth certainly was written with much detail, down to the colour of her shoe. Making the book seem more realistic with the shallow, rich societies. ![]() The character was nicely developed, I love how the author had somehow channelled the issue of women right into the book. Fascinated by his stories, Elizabeth finds herself in love with Max. Max defied his parents to go to Paris and learn how to become a artist. Chained back to America by her engagement by her parent, Elizabeth meets Max. it reflects women rights through out the book and what a difference money can make.Įlizabeth, the only daughter of a wealthy banker is engaged to a bland banker, when she really wants to receive more education by going off to college.
